In 2015, we went on a school trip to Rosario, as part of a project which included the visit to the places described in "El Visitante", a book written by Alma Maritano, which we had read in class. The trip lasted 3 days and we went to the most important places in the city, as The Flag Monument , The Independence Park, Fontanarrosa Cultural Center, the National School No. 1 Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, among other places.

We also visited a city, not far from Rosario, called San Lorenzo. There, there was a very important fact that was the Battle of San Lorenzo, in which the Rioplatenses (Argentine) independence forces surprised and defeated the Spanish of the Montevideo Urban Militia (realistic) who waterways provisioned the city on the Siege of Montevideo (1812-1814). It was the only fight on Argentine territory who fought both the Regiment of Horse Grenadiers and its creator, then Colonel José de San Martín. There we visited the field of glory, which was where the fight was triggered, we also went to the convent San Carlos, and the San Martiniano museum. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of General José de San Martín, this museum shows a series of scenes captured in dioramas that seek to reflect the the most important events that show him in all his humanity and greatness.
