BACK TO ISOLATION FOR THE TENNIS WORLD.

Athletes Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos were disqualified from the competition hours before their arrival, due to a quarantine notice received by public health services, as they had been in contact with a male player which tested positive for Coronavirus. Thanks to this, the athletes' women's doubles team was forced not to participate in the U.S. Open. Mladenovic complained about feeling like a prisoner after being isolated again, despite having undergone several tests giving negative. The USTA established that matches will continue with the necessary security measures.

  This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
