MACHU PICCHU SANCTUARY




This old Inca city is located in the Cusco region, in Peru, and it was built in the XV century. It’s said that it had been one of the residences of the nineth Tahauntinsuyo Inca, Pachacútec, and there are also a parts of an antique sanctuary.

Nowadays, this place is one of the most visited touristic attractions in the country and has become famous in the first part of XX century because of Hiram Bingham, a Yale’s professor. The Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary is defined an architectonic masterpiece and it’s considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Moreover, this treasure has been named as a World Heritage site in 1983.

We can’t wait to travel there.
