CLONE WARS

A long time ago, in 2008, Lucasfilm started a project, fully supported by George Lucas. This project consisted of an animated series called “The Clone Wars”. It didn't start as good as they expected, but with a lot of dedication, and a huge love for the Star Wars saga, it has become the most remarkable series of all time, loved by all the fans.

“The Clone Wars” is set in the fictional universe of George Lucas, between the events occurred in “The Attack of the Clones” and “The Revenge of the Siths”, depicting us different stories from lots of points of view. However, we can distinguish a main group of characters: Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex. We follow them from the beginning of their journey in the 501st legion, when Ahsoka is named Anakin's apprentice.

The characters are portrayed in such a way that we sympathize with them all the time (mainly with Ahsoka). We celebrate their victories, and we suffer their problems, until we reach the last four episodes, in which our hearts explode (emotionally) with the end of the clone wars, with the siege of Mandalore, the most acclaimed plot of the series.

Argentina´s economy threatens to crumble down while President Fernandez tries to come to an agreement with creditors

  Having extended the mandatory lockdown for the Buenos Aires metropolitan region until 17 July, the government´s cabinet has other problems that need to be dealt with immediately as well. To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy. Interview with Mr. Yamamoto

  On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Nicolas had plenty of experiences and culture shocks to share with us, and from which we could all learn.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series. Apart from this, the car in the third position was driven by José María López, who was born in Córdoba, which almost arrived in the first position, but due to some motor problems, it was overtaken.
