A NEW WAY TO SAVE LIVES

If you are fully recovered from a COVID-19 diagnosis you can donate plasma to potentially save ill patients.  The plasma in the blood of recovered patients may contain antibodies that can attack the virus so your donation could help save the lives of patients battling the disease. To donate you must be fully recovered, be healthy, weigh more than 50kg and be over 16 years old. Those who want to donate and are 16 or 17 years old must be accompanied by their parents.

The efficiency of this method isn´t fully confirmed but the help you can provide is very important because, with your plasma, those who work in the healthcare system can offer a possible new alternative for the patients that are suffering the disease.

If you were infected and want to donate, here is a link where you can find more information: https://www.argentina.gob.ar/coronavirus/donacion-de-plasma.
