Villa Traful - The invaluable experience of mountain biking

 We visited this beautiful and picturesque village last year. As this village is off the beaten track, most of its activities are closely related to the magical nature of the place. 


After a few days,  we did an amazing activity, mountain biking. We took off from our camping site and went all the way through the mountain paths until we reached a lovely lake to rest. We all needed determination to finish the race, as the track was highly irregular. Nevertheless, the view of cycling at high speed in a magnificent, superb and untouched scenery filled us with a happiness that will never be forgotten.

To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy.   On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Nicolas had plenty of experiences and culture shocks to share with us, and from which we could all learn.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures. She told us that she would like to visit Argentina and also commented that she has friends in the United States who had lived in Buenos Aires.  Later on, we asked about her hobbies and social activities, but she explained that because of the pandemic she prefers to stay safe inside home.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series. Apart from this, the car in the third position was driven by José María López, who was born in Córdoba, which almost arrived in the first position, but due to some motor problems, it was overtaken.
