Mr. Key, a Londoner married to an Argentinian

On Tuesday, September 18, we interviewed Mr. Key about his personal life and his academic path. Chris is an English native who studied Business at the University of Southampton and did the MBA in Australia. He  married to an Argentinian in 2006 and they have two kids.

Chris told us that his wife is from Bella Vista but they met in London. She was a friend of his wife’s brother.

We asked him how he would describe Argentine people and British people, and he answered  that we have a lot in common. We both have similar sense of humor and we love to travel and football, but he said that we are a little bit more adaptable and British people are very structured.

Talking about culture, we asked him what the typical dance and the traditional music of England is, but he said that they do not have a specific traditional dance or music. He also mentioned that the most common ceremonies celebrated in London are Christmas Eve, Halloween, and Guy Fawkes Night.

We continued talking about the pandemic and how it has changed his life and his routine in England. He told us it has not changed drastically because the government has controlled the problem really well and they had only one month of lockdown. He said he has not had the time to take up any new hobby because he has to spend time taking care of his kids and do online working.

To finish the interview  we asked Mr. Key for some advice on  our lives as adults and as responsible people because there are problems that worry us and stress us a lot, like what degree to follow or  what university to go to, for example. He encouraged us to choose a future that motivates us and fuels our love for our work. Also, not to stress or despair if we start studying something, or only start a project or job, and after starting we realize that this is not our vocation, he advised us to take everything with great calm and tranquility, and to be up to new possibilities and challenges.
