Can writing make you happier?
There are several studies about the effects of writing on young people and adults. Writing can affect our behavior, personalities, emotions; the practice of this activity has given many children the inspiration and conditions to write more creatively during lockdown, making them feel better, helping them to cope with the fact that they cannot see their family and friends. To name some, 1 in 6 (17.5%) children and young people said they enjoyed writing more during lockdown than they had before, 39.7% has written more short stories or fiction and 1 out of 4 has written more in a diary or journal. Moreover, the several digital writing formats available makes writing an activity everyone can reach. Therefore, what are you waiting for?
