THE UYUNI`S SALAR

Bolivia is not in a developed situation compared to its neighbors, but it has more picturesque landscapes than any other nation on Earth. What it is beneath its surface is greed by lots of international companies. the Uyuni´s salar is constantly visited by tourists, that`s the reason why  the governments gives the regional tourism more relevance than anything else.
This destination is popular among local and foreign people due to the many activities that can be done there. For instance, this place and its unique features make possible to the tourists to take unbelievable photos, in both day and night. Furthermore, it has an interesting fauna. For example, every November, salar de Uyuni is the breeding ground for three South American species of flamingo: the Chilean, Andean, and rare Jame´s flamingos.

To end up, this landscape is so special, that allowed creating spectacular scenarios. That is what Rian Johnson did to create Crait, the planet where the final battle scene in Star Wars VII "The Last Jedi" takes place.

  On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures. She told us that she would like to visit Argentina and also commented that she has friends in the United States who had lived in Buenos Aires.  Later on, we asked about her hobbies and social activities, but she explained that because of the pandemic she prefers to stay safe inside home.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series. Apart from this, the car in the third position was driven by José María López, who was born in Córdoba, which almost arrived in the first position, but due to some motor problems, it was overtaken.
