Is the Russian vaccine the final solution that the whole world is looking for?

          In the last few days, the new vaccine and its effectiveness has certainly been a subject discussed by almost everyone. It has been created by the Moscow-based Gamaleya Institute in Russia, being the first Covid-19 vaccine approved. However, this invention seems to be surrounded by controversy.

             Despite the fact that the vaccine has already gone through the first two phases of investigation, phase 3 is still to be completed.

This part consists of the study of effectiveness, which involves testing thousands of patients. Nevertheless, this particular vaccine has only been tested on about 80 people.

The question of whether the vaccine will save us from the virus cannot be answered, yet its massive production is being carried out, with already pre-orders for billions of doses.

  This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
