Guzmán is negotiating the country's debt
Martín Guzmán, Argentina's economy minister, has decided to take on a quest that many would have turned down.
He will negotiate with bondholders to take care of the important debt problem that Argentina has. He will either manage to cut down the value of the bonds to almost half, in a way of relieving the affected economy of a developing nation, or trigger a redux of the long known legal battle that has affected Argentina for already more than 15 years. A letter has been signed in may by many economists of the country that asks for a debt relief, due to the pandemic affecting the economy directly. Time will tell if Guzmán is able to provide a solution for this problem.REFERENCES
