Coronavirus, the perfect scenario for cyberbullying to arise
Cyberbullying is a form of harassment using technological resources which, over the last few years, has become a major problem among young people. With the pandemic, cyberbullying has increased 70% worldwide, mainly due to the quarantine and social distancing. These attacks may include uploading private photos or sending aggressive messages which, combined with the actual situation full of anxiety and stress, is nothing but horror for the victims.
What can be done to prevent this from happening? It is extremely important to be aware of cyberbullying in order to be able to spot it in others as, in many cases, the victim's suffering becomes evident at some point. If we manage to understand this harrassment, we will be able to fight against it.
