VIRTUAL TOURS: THE “TRIPS” ORGANIZED BY SCHOOLS IN QUARANTINE TIMES

Since it’s impossible to make real school trips, schools have planned to make  virtual
tours due to the pandemic during
2020. It’s basically like going to educational trips because these visits include a
guided tour, photos of the place and videos showing different parts of the area. It’s a
good way to carry out activities that have been planned. Some places offer visits for
free, and are opened to anyone who would like to spend a few hours learning about almost anything. It’s working very well in primary schools, but it’s being difficult for teens in secondary school, since they don’t show the same kind of interest and
fascination as kids usually have.

  On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
