NEW VIRUS WITH “PANDEMIC POTENCIAL”

Chinese scientists have discovered a new type of swine flu that can infect humans. For now, it only spreads from pigs to humans but researchers say that it could mutate and easily transfer from person to person. They also say that it’s not a immediate problem but it has to be monitored very closely so it doesn´t go out of control as it happened with the Sars-Cov 2 pandemic that we are going through.
The strain is called G4 virus and resources say it is genetically descended from the HN1N swine flu that caused a pandemic back in 2009. Swine flu is not a new virus but the inclusion of 2009 HN1N genes may promote the virus adaptation so it can be transferred between humans so it must be monitored.

Argentina´s economy threatens to crumble down while President Fernandez tries to come to an agreement with creditors

To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
