COVID-19: POSSIBLE VACCINE

 New tests arrived to Argentina for Covid-19 diagnosis.

Argentina´s President, Alberto Fernández announced that the country was selected to test a new vaccine against Covid-19 and this choice was based on different factors, such as scientific experience and Argentina's previous experience in conducting clinical studies. These tests were planned to start in July butut local media announce that they will be more likely to start in August.
The project being carried out by the German company BioNTech and the American pharmaceutical laboratory Pfizer is one of 12 vaccines that are being tested on humans in the world.
BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin said in a statement that the experimental BNT162b1 vaccine is capable of generating neutralizing antibodies in humans.

  Having extended the mandatory lockdown for the Buenos Aires metropolitan region until 17 July, the government´s cabinet has other problems that need to be dealt with immediately as well. To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy. Secondly, the administration now embarks on a race against time to: resolve Argentina´s macro-economic problems and imbalance (concerning the fiscal situation and printing money), make our economy sustainable again (35,000 of Argentinian companies are considering to close their business) and revert the social consequences left behind by the pandemic and the previous mandate.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
