Both Samsung and Apple agreed in stop selling chargers alongside their phones
In the last few days, it has been said that two of the world’s biggest smartphone makers decided not to offer charges in the upcoming phones, beginning in 2021.
The main reason for this decision revolves around the positive benefits it would have on the environment. This is because plenty of the potential buyers already count with their personal charger, so providing a new one would cause an accumulation of unused ones, and the electronic waste would grow bigger and bigger.
In addition to this, the cost of the product would decrease as well, making it more accessible for the community and cheaper for the company to produce.
Nevertheless, the rumour still needs to be confirmed but these companies have already obtained the world’s approval.
