A SCHOOL, THOUSANDS OF DREAMS

In this article, you will read about a school trip to Tilcara (Jujuy) in the north of our country. We associate this trip with solidarity, commitment and appreciation of our belongings. We fondly remember this trip since we were able to participate in the school life of many children with limited resources who, despite their circumstances, still have a desire for hope and personal growth to have a better future. We shared both personal and group experiences where we were able to get to know each of them in depth, always respecting their way of day-to-day running. At the end of the day, as a way of thanking them, we decided to give them a gift, but the lesson they gave us was more impactful: the fact of being happy despite the circumstances and that we should value even the smallest things.

  On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Nicolas had plenty of experiences and culture shocks to share with us, and from which we could all learn.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures. She told us that she would like to visit Argentina and also commented that she has friends in the United States who had lived in Buenos Aires.  Later on, we asked about her hobbies and social activities, but she explained that because of the pandemic she prefers to stay safe inside home.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series.
