Travelling: will it be possible once the self-isolation period concludes?

While many people are against the activity of travelling for pleasure during this hectic time due to Covid-19’s outbreaks, hopes must not be lost. Even though borders of countries from all around the world are still closed down, and in the verge of problem between the US and the EU (that might result in European countries banning US citizens from going there), the travel agency is adapting to the new protocols for travellers seeking for adventures. In the United States, for example, guided tours now have the option of being made self-guided, to prevent any type of human contact. Also, some travel agencies are starting to connect campers with landowners to provide a private and safe place for camping, while keeping the human contact to a minimum.

To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy.   On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Athletes Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos were disqualified from the competition hours before their arrival, due to a quarantine notice received by public health services, as they had been in contact with a male player which tested positive for Coronavirus.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures.   After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series. Apart from this, the car in the third position was driven by José María López, who was born in Córdoba, which almost arrived in the first position, but due to some motor problems, it was overtaken.
