Argentina´s economy threatens to crumble down while President Fernandez tries to come to an agreement with creditors

  Having extended the mandatory lockdown for the Buenos Aires metropolitan region until 17 July, the government´s cabinet has other problems that need to be dealt with immediately as well. To begin with, even though governments´ aid has benefited the lower class, the vast majority of the economically active population struggles to make ends meet and, therefore, starts to close down their businesses while CABA begins to reopen their economy. Secondly, the administration now embarks on a race against time to: resolve Argentina´s macro-economic problems and imbalance (concerning the fiscal situation and printing money), make our economy sustainable again (35,000 of Argentinian companies are considering to close their business) and revert the social consequences left behind by the pandemic and the previous mandate. The SEC is looking up actions with respect to the U.S. Oil Fund as it has shown a drop since April. Wells' notice provided by the SEC limited the investment in oil contracts by showing the possibility that it will not be able to reflect a spot price. The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) based in London, believes that the tourism sector is at risk of losing more than 100 million jobs and $2.7 trillion global dollars due to the health crisis. Since the beginning of March, no reservations have been made for the spring. Interview with Mr. Yamamoto

  On the morning of October 27 we were given the opportunity to interview Mr. Yamamoto, a young man who used to attend our school and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Nicolas had plenty of experiences and culture shocks to share with us, and from which we could all learn. Culture In the interview we can appreciate that Mr. Yamamoto missed Argentinian food, like Milanesa, also that when he went to Japan, also that when he went to Japan, he went with 6 friends and the bride, the transport was very punctual clean and he didn't have to wait long and he used to go to work. Athletes Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos were disqualified from the competition hours before their arrival, due to a quarantine notice received by public health services, as they had been in contact with a male player which tested positive for Coronavirus. Thanks to this, the athletes' women's doubles team was forced not to participate in the U.S. Open.   This week we had the opportunity to interview Lauren Stahl, a native American born in Michigan, who has lived there all her life. She gave us some insight about what she does for a living and her current studies. Apart from that, this was a particular occasion because it was the last interview of this different yet special year. Lauren has lived in Michigan all her life and has never travelled abroad. For this reason, she doesn't know any differences within cultures. She told us that she would like to visit Argentina and also commented that she has friends in the United States who had lived in Buenos Aires.  Later on, we asked about her hobbies and social activities, but she explained that because of the pandemic she prefers to stay safe inside home. THE ANNUAL LE MANS

  After a year of waiting and delays, the most famous racing competition finally  took place last weekend. Although, without a public and with a reduced number of teams due to the pandemic. The so far invictus company Toyota has won the 88th competition of Le Mans, and it is the third time in a row. It was also a third consecutive win for driver Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima driving. In second place arrived the Rebellion car. Sadly, this was the last year that Rebellion participated in the WEC (World Endurance Competition), and Toyota was left as the only champion in the WEC series. Apart from this, the car in the third position was driven by José María López, who was born in Córdoba, which almost arrived in the first position, but due to some motor problems, it was overtaken.
