CORONAVIRUS: THE PROVINCE CHANGED THE PROTOCOL FOR MEDICAL DISCHARGE IN MILD PATIENTS
Mild coronavirus patients will be discharged within 10 days from the
onset of symptoms and without the need for a PCR test, according to the
Covid-19 Response for Disease Contingency by the Buenos Aires Ministry of
Health.
Sources from the health portfolio explained that, until now, the
deadline was 14 days, and detailed that the obligation to have two negative
swabs in order to discharge the patient is also eliminated with the new
protocol.
In addition, the protocol determines that fever is no longer an exclusive
condition for the identification of a suspected case.
The Buenos Aires Ministry of Health specified that it sent all effectors
and health professionals in the Buenos Aires municipalities the new Protocol of
preparation to optimize the response to the contingency of disease cause by

characteristics of the epidemiological situation changes, and the objective is
