NATIONAL PARK OF ZHANGJIAJIE

We are used to see long bustling streets and tower blocks that touch the blue sky, even our picturesque natural landscapes. However, there are places on earth that strike the mind of the urban people, places that are out of our frontiers, and which are worth visiting! One example of these is the glorious Chinese Park of Zhangjiajie.

It is situated in the north of Huhan province. Due to the astonishing combination of both forest and mountain, James Cameron based his awarded film “Avatar” on it. Furthermore, the place was an inspiration for most iconic scenes in the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender”. This last fact ended in the rename of one of the mountains in the park, adopting the name of "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain". It is worth highlighting that the longest glass bridge ever built is there.

To sum up, this is a wonderful place to visit. The park, which was recognized as China´s first national forest park, has many facilities to have a great time.
