DROUGHT - RESILIENT TREES
According to a new study, trees are adapting to the new conditions of the environment and to the global warming progresses, the study showed that small trees are growing in condition of drought may be the future of the Amazon. This rainforest has suffered many drought and they are becoming more and more common so trees must evolve and this is the way they do it. The study was made by the university of Exeter and researchers have found small trees may adapt to drought and a sustain way to save the rainforest. These trees also respond to additional light they receive when larger, higher trees disappear.
