ANTI-CORONAVIRUS HELMET FOR NFL PLAYERS

The NFL is getting ready for the next season and they have already approved some coronavirus prevention protocols. Its training grounds are programmed to start at the end of this month and the official matches in September. The problem was that athletes complained about facial masks because they interfere with breathing and vision, so the league looked for another option, a modified helmet.

The new helmet was designed by Oakley company and it has a transparent plastic that covers not only the eyes but also the mouth and nose as a facial protector. The curious part of it is that it will have openings for the air flow and communication, but not for the respiratory droplets, which are the most important way the coronavirus spreads.
